Hi Everyone...Carmella here. I am a recent addition to rescue when my owners could no longer keep me due to separation. It was no fault of mine of course but I have to admit it's been a little confusing but we're pushing through. I got to come to my current temporary home and they have these BIG lab brothers here for me to play with and I couldn't be more happier. I came right in and made myself right at home. Mom says I am a tiny girl weighing in at about 35 lbs but that I am one long hound dog, just as long as my lab brothers. A perfect compact love bug size if you ask me. Mom can not comment enough on how absolutely SWEET I am, just like caramel, maybe that's why they named me Carmella. I am still a young girl, only a year and half old so I would love to go to a forever home with another dog, a big fenced in yard and some kids to play with me. I would just think I have died and gone to heaven. I am house trained, crate trained, UTD on all vaccinations, HW tested negative, micro chipped and altered. Please remember Every animal for adoption through an Hounds Haven is fully vetted for their age and only needs routine preventive care. Dogs older then 6 months of age are heartworm tested! All dogs are kept on heartworm preventative. Every hound is vaccinated (age appropriate), and de-wormed, in addition to being spayed/neutered.
We are asking for interested parties to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire prior to us lining up an appointment for them to see the hound(s) at the hound(s)' home.
