Chicago, IL – Adopt Sweet and Funny Female Guinea Pigs Eloise and Evan
Eloise and Evan are an adorable pair of active, friendly, and funny Abyssinian and smooth-coat guinea pig friends looking for a loving guardian together.
These girls are probably a year old. Eloise is a gorgeous tri-color Abyssinian; Evan is brown and tan smooth-coat.
These two are happy and healthy. Found stray in a park in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago, you can see poor Evan had been living with aggressive guinea pigs who chewed on her ear and now it looks to be in the shape of a distorted map of the United States.
These girls will be fabulous with anyone who lavishes them with love.
They eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a 1/4 cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will love them, handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Eloise and Evan, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for them including their cage, pellets, hay, hidey huts, treats, and water bottles.
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
