Strikingly beautiful GERTRUDE (or TRUDY) is a gem. She is a lean and leggy girl known as a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Super smart, loyal, and affectionate, TRUDY learns new commands astonishingly quickly. Her perfect companion(s) would be someone who can stimulate her mentally and offer her opportunities to be active. She likes walks or hikes where she can put her hound nose to good use.

She is also a big snuggle bug who loves massages and thinks she can fit on your lap! She has the cutest way of putting her head under your arm for cuddles when you sit with her.

TRUDY is 4 and a half years old, house trained, up-to-date on all her shots and weighs a bit under 60 lbs. She would not be a good fit for someone living in an apartment or with cats or small dogs.
