Although we make our best effort to collect and verify as much information as possible for every rescue dog's history, sometimes there is very little information available or oftentimes simply impossible to authenticate the veracity of the information. If you require a guarantee of a breed, warrantee of health or behavior, we highly recommend that you seek another avenue of acquiring your next pet. We appreciate your understanding.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationSubmit ONE application per family (link below) - you may list more than one dog on the app. See "Additional Adoption Info" section below.
- InterviewAfter reviewing applications for each pup, our team may contact you for a phone interview.
- Home CheckPlease send us a video or multiple photos of your home, interior and exterior.
- Approve ApplicationA group decision will be made based on what we believe is the best fit for both the pet and for your family.
- Pay FeeThe full adoption fee is paid prior to bringing the pet home.
- Take the Pet HomeThe pet will come home with you for a 2-week trial.
- Sign Adoption ContractAfter a successful 2-week trial, the adoption contract is signed.

The majority of our pups are in S. Korea; however we have a few dogs here in foster homes. You must be an approved adopter to visit our dogs.

More about this rescue
DoVE Project (Dogs of Violence Exposed) is a 501(c)3 animal welfare, rights and protection organization. As our name is clearly stated, our aim is to end the Dog Meat Trade in S. Korea and other parts of the world where the dogs are slaughtered for human consumption. The condition in which these dogs are raised, bred and slaughtered is extremely brutal and inhumane. We rescue these dogs from dog farms, slaughterhouses, or dogs destined to enter into dog meat trade or be slaughtered to be eaten. Many female dogs that are rescued from the farms/slaughter houses are pregnant and oftentimes their puppies are brought to USA for adoption. Part of our campaign to end the DMT in Korea is rescue work in parallel in conjunction with our campaign to raise awareness and education within Korea.
