My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Henrietta`s story.

When she first arrived at PACC she was weak, severely underweight, hyperthermic, in shock, covered with maggots and wounds over 70% of her body. We don`t know what happened to her. She was so skinny and unkept that she appeared like and old lady cat when in fact she was around 8 months old.

She received medical treatment and daily bandage changes for a very long time. She had ups and downs and we weren`t sure that she was going to make it. Her frail body was fighting so so hard. She underwent numerous surgeries to include a tail amputation due to necrotic skin, a hernia repair and so many wound repairs that I can`t count on my hand.

Most of her hair has grown back. She still has scarred areas where it may never grow back. She has so many scars. She`s gone from a tiny 3 lb cat to over 9 lbs of chonkiness. And through it all, whatever caused the injuries to all the poking and medicating, she is the happiest cat ever. She is the bestest girl.
