My story

Hi I’m Remi!

I’m new to Texas and came a long way to TroopieLand because I heard y’all were “THE BEST!” Now that I’m here, I am looking for a very special person to call my own.

“To know me is to love me” and what I lack in agility I make up for with personality - BIG- BIG, lovable personality.

Right now I’m busy visiting the magical people in white coats in hopes I will have a chance to walk better. No one knows exactly what is wrong with my back legs…It’s a conundrum all the vets say. I try to use them, but folks tell me it looks funny.

That doesn’t stop me from eating or drinking or playing or doing most things a Lab pup would normally do But to humor them, I agreed to go along with this plan and see if I can become more perfect than I currently am!

I’m going to be busy with appointments and letting them do their thing for a couple weeks, but then I would love to meet you - that is if you are special of course! Want to know more about me and my skills and needs - just email adoptions@retrieveafriend.org

The mission of Texas Sporting Breed Rescue, Inc.(TSBR )is to provide for the welfare, shelter and adoption of lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and puppies, specifically; The American Kennel Club (AKC) defined sporting group breeds - Retrievers, Setters, Pointers, Spaniels, Vizlas, Weimaraners, and Spinone Italianos; to promote the responsible care of companion animals, to actively promote spaying and neutering as the most humane means of animal control; to support heartworm education and treatment; and to provide training and education to the public related to topics such as: animal welfare, responsible dog ownership and breed information.
