My story

Mowgli is a very special and stunning boy! He was found in the San Bernardino Mountains 5 years ago when he showed up at someone's house skinny and wandering for weeks and then was adopted by a wonderful lady. Unfortunately, she cannot physically care for him anymore and he is looking for a new forever home.

Mowgli is around 6 years old, 13 lbs., neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped. We believe he is a British Shorthair/American Shorthair breed. He would do best as an only cat and only animal in the house. Because of his unique characteristics, he would also need a home with no kids.

Mowgli is very sweet, playful, vocal, loves to be brushed and is an affectionate cat, but has a dominant side when he wants something or is done with attention. He tends to give love bites and scratches when he’s had enough. He feels bad afterward and is always trying to improve.

He seems to be happiest when he is able to go outside in the yard. So being an inside/outside cat would make him happy as long as he is safe. He also has gone on walks on a leash. He is territorial and has gotten is some cat fights and is very strong. But please don’t let this scare you away. He wants to please, but in his way. Mowgli really is an amazing cat!

Mowgli needs someone who understands cats, is experienced and patient. If this is you, please fill out our MHS Feline Adoption Application on our website.
