My story

Age/DOB:  3-2-2022

Yogi is with the Jellystone litter of three black kitties and is the big boy of the group. Like his cartoon namesake, Yogi thinks he is “smarter than the average” putty-tat, but he is just a fun loving furball eager to please for that next “pic-a-nic basket” of kitty treats. Like his little siblings, Boo-boo and Cindy, he gets all excited chasing dangling toys, playing kitty soccer with ping-pong balls, and any other goofy cat game. Though cheerful and friendly, Yogi is too youthful and busy to be held long, however, when playtime adventure subsides, a good snuggle up and pet session is certainly desired. Yogi Bear has his devoted companion & BFF Boo-boo Bear, Yogi kitty is seeking a comparable lifelong friend.

I am spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV/ FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, treated with Revolution, and am up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.

More about this rescue

Purrs & Whiskers, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving Stafford, Virginia and its surrounding areas whose mission is to employ the best practices of the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) philosophy and for those deemed adoptable, we provide temporary foster care while actively seeking a loving permanent living situation. This is accomplished by providing compassion, daily nourishment, and basic wellness care for both individual cats, as well as colonies of free-roaming, homeless cats living outdoors. When feasible, we will collaborate with local shelters in an effort to relieve over-crowding by identifying and adopting out shelter cats into appropriate, permanent living situations.
