PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
SERENA BAKER (named after the show ("SPINING OUT") and her family were found in a house that people were dealing drugs. The independent rescuer that found her saved her from being sold for drugs. That's when we got the call. We rescued all 11 of the kittens / cats.
So SERENA BAKER has never known the street life. As you can see in the picture, she is quite the actress. She has been living a nice pampered life. She is loved and spoiled!!
SERENA BAKER is shy. She is a very playful with other kittens! She loves to cuddle with her cat friends. She is still young enough to adapt quickly to a nice home. She does wink and put her ears back when a person approaches. With enough love and patience, lil SERENA BAKER will be a wonderful girl.
SERENA BAKER is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / LNYX POINT SIAMESE MIX. She is about 6 months old and is good with cats and non-reactive to dogs. She has never been around young children. And because she is shy and skittish, she will do best in a home with teenagers and/ or adults.
SERENA BAKER is currently at PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue.
OCTOBER 2022: With all the needed social distancing, we are still doing adoptions. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. Please note that it is totally up to the volunteers if they are comfortable with allowing you in the cattery. (COVID). Steps 1-5 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
7. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

Meet and greets will take place at the Petsmart location where the cat/kitten is currently located at.
The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will do meet and greets at any of the 3 Petsmart locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
