Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OCTOBER 2025

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

ELOISE and her 2 siblings (DORATHIA - MERCURIO) were saved from a backyard in Gardena, California. We were notified by one of our TNR independent rescuers' that there was a mama with 4 kittens living there. They were being hunted by neighborhood dogs and coyotes. So we acted fast! She trapped mama and got her into a safe home with a neighbor who cared for her. We got the 3 kittens and the other little guy went to another rescue as he was trapped later.

Unfortunately in rescue no matter how fast we act sometimes, we can't save them. Our boy MERCURIO passed away unexpectedly, a week after he was rescued. And because of it, we noticed that the girls are very connected. We can't say bonded because we have never separated them.

Meet ELOISE, a tender Gray Tuxedo cat from Gardena, California, whose gentle spirit shines through her soft, elegant markings and quiet charm. ELOISE began her life as a fragile little one, but with time, patience, and care, she has blossomed into a sweet companion who now seeks the comfort of a true family and the warmth of a loving home.

ELOISE has a heart that is cautious at first, yet filled with longing for connection. She takes her time to trust, but once she feels safe, she’ll surprise you with her tender devotion. One of her most cherished habits is crawling into a welcoming lap, where she soaks up pets and enjoys the closeness she once wasn’t sure she could have. There’s something magical about the moment her shyness melts away, leaving behind a cat who simply wants to belong.

While ELOISE enjoys moments of quiet affection, she also has a playful spark. Toys can easily catch her attention, and she’ll join in with a lighthearted spirit once she feels encouraged. Her playfulness, combined with her love for gentle pets and strokes, makes her a well-rounded companion who brings both joy and peace.

ELOISE shares a special bond with her super shy sister, often finding comfort in being close to her. The two balance each other, offering support and companionship in ways only sisters can. For this reason, ELOISE would flourish in a home that appreciates the beauty of giving her time, patience, and perhaps the chance to stay close to her sibling. She is well-suited for a calm, caring environment where she can continue to build trust and share her growing confidence.

What ELOISE truly needs is a loving family who can see the beauty of her journey—from a timid little kitten to a cat who bravely seeks human connection. In return, she promises gentle companionship, quiet moments of love, and the joy of watching her blossom even more each day. Could your home be the safe and loving place ELOISE has been waiting for?

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

ELOISE is ALREADY fully vetted.
The adoption fee of $200 covers:

Spay
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!
