Blaze is a sweet and energetic 7-month-old, 29-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Blaze is a deaf puppy that needs a special person to meet his needs and love on him endlessly! Since he is deaf, he relies on hand commands for cues and already knows "Come" and "Sit". He's a very quick learner! Blaze is currently learning how to walk calmly on leash since it's something he's new to and often gets distracted by how much he loves being outside and meeting new people. He will need a patient person who can put in the training and exercise that he needs. Before Blaze came to Home At Last, his last owners tied him to a chain outside when they found out he was deaf. Blaze is ready to be in a home where he is loved and adored like the sweet boy he is! Blaze is not cat tested, but he is good with other dogs and people. Since he's young and easily excitable, he is still learning how not to jump on people when he wants to give some hugs and kisses. Because of this, he may not be best in a home with young children until he learns. He is crate trained and mostly housebroken.
