My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~~We are only accepting applications for Fiona from people with prior experience with puppy mill dogs~~

Fiona is approximately 5 years old.

Fiona continues to make progress but still has a way to go.

She is very sweet and starting to show her personality. Jumping and twirling in play with the other dogs.

She will allow me to touch her but scoots away if I make any quick movements. If there are too many people around, she will curl up, freeze and is afraid to move.

I've been able to hold her on an occasion, but she is not fond of it.

She is food oriented which is helpful to motivate her.

She absolutely loves my other dogs and often lays or sits next to them.

She also will stay outside for long periods of time while I'm gardening.

Fiona needs a young, small playful dog already living in the home chosen for her. She also needs a fenced yard and no cats. Fiona’s new family must have experience with puppy mill dogs. There are no exceptions to this.

Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. Fiona is located in MI
