My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ziggy is a young male, Bichon Mix. He was picked up on the streets of Chicago in a sad state. His coat was matted. He was infested with fleas and various fungal infections.

He needed to spend several months at the vet's office to be neutered and to get his physical problems under control. He is now a healthy beautiful boy, and he has a lovely bright white coat.

He is shy and seems to expect to be mishandled as he shies away when approached. It has taken a month for him to come to me for goodnight petting and kisses.

He loves our daily walks. He learns quickly and doesn't forget what he needs to do to get what he wants.

Ziggy needs very patient handling as he is very wary of anything new. He is food motivated and his weight is stable. He gets along with other dogs.

He is housetrained in my home. He'll make a wonderful pet for a home with patience and understanding of his needs.

Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. Ziggy needs a small young dog already living in the home chosen for him. *****There are no exceptions to this*****

He is located in IN
