Hi, my name is Rosita and I am a beautiful girl, if I do say so myself! I love going on long walks and really enjoy the outdoors. I sleep well in my kennel, although sometimes I don’t want to go in there and would much prefer to sleep on a comfy couch, or even in your bed. I love being brushed and my fluffy tail is proof of that! My favorite place to be is as close to you as possible and I love to give kisses. I am starting to come out of my shell and have a funny, playful personality. My perfect home would be a home with a BIG fenced yard or an acreage as my breed instincts are such that I need a large area to patrol. I'm selective with other dogs. I have liked some, and really not a fan of others. I think maybe I would like to be the only queen of the castle and have you all to myself. I'm not much of a fan of cats so it would be best for me to not live with them. Kids tend to make me nervous with their fast, unpredictable movements and noises, so I'd prefer an adult-only home. I will need regular brushing & grooming, so please make sure you're willing to add that into your schedule & budget. I'm such a pretty girl who just wants to have a great life. I hope I find my perfect family soon!
Rosita is a female Akbash/mix, weighs 71 lbs and was born approximately 6-1-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. She was provided life-saving heartworm treatment and will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 (adoption fee sponsored!) to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
