My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Chloe is currently in a foster home, and she is available for adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

If you’re a guy looking for a four-legged best friend, Chloe might just be your perfect match. Unlike many shelter dogs, Chloe prefers men—and she’s been thriving in her foster home with her foster dad, Jeff. Their favorite pastime? Endless games of fetch in the yard. (Seriously, she could play all day. The girl is simple: food, ball, and Dad!)

Chloe is a high-energy, tennis-ball–obsessed sweetheart who loves a quiet, simple life. She’s looking for an adult-only home where she can be the center of attention, soak up affection, and enjoy the stability she craves. She thrives with structure and will do best with someone who appreciates her playful spirit and knows the magic of a good routine.

If you’ve got a yard, a stash of tennis balls, and a heart ready for a loyal, lively companion, Chloe is ready to be your #1 girl.

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
