My story

Monarch showed up at a volunteer's home in the Kenwood area. Much to our surprise, Monarch gave birth to 5 kittens 3 days later - Capone, Clyde, Bonnie, Calamity Jane & Belle Star.
Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to counties adjoining Linn County, Iowa.
Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions.

All adopters must fill out an application available at our Adoption Center.
References will be checked and all animals in the household must be spayed/neutered and current on rabies vaccination. We conduct a home visit and have a contract for all adoptions. The adoption fee is $100 for one and $150 for two cats adopted at the same time. The adoption fee may be reduced for senior and special needs cats.
