Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Loki is ready for his new home. He has been in training for 2 months at the Clarinda Correction Facility. Loki is a 1 ½ year old Miniature American Shepherd/Chihuahua/Aussie mix that weighs around 23 pounds. He has been neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. His trainer at CCF says he loves to snuggle, likes to run and enjoys his nap time. He does not like big dogs or to be crated/kenneled. He likes to sleep in bed with you at night. He is good when greeting new people, but may be a little timid at first. He does well with his housetraining, although at his previous home, he was potty pad trained. Loki would love a home with a fenced yard and humans to snuggle with. He would be OK with older children. On his evaluation test he scored excellent in the following areas – Waiting at Door, Comes when called to be leashed up, Loose Leash walking, and knows the commands of Leave It and Settle. He is also good at Give and Take (trading for high-value item). He knows how to shake and speak when asked. Loki does need more work in several areas – Meet and Greet, waiting for his food bowl and Stay. Adoption Fee is $250 with approved application.
