My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Bren and I am a pretty little mixed breed girl, probably a terrier / chihuahua mix since I am from South Texas.! I am about 1 year old and I weigh 13 lbs. I was running loose along with 3 other small dogs and a nice lady took us all in and tried to find our families. When nobody claimed us, 4 Little Paws Rescue offered to help. That nice lady was our foster mom for a couple of months while we were getting properly vetted and she thinks we are all pretty special. I am a very sweet girl, a bit shy at first but always gentle and kind. I just moved to Connecticut last week to find my future and a wonderful forever home. I have already made great friends with my new foster parents, and I am having a blast playing with all the resident dogs. My new foster mom says I am a silly goofball and a total sweetheart! I love to play, I love other dogs and I love all people. I have come a long way from the scared little girl I started out as to now happy and confident enough for everyone to see my goofy side! I am a quiet girl, I don’t bark at all, and I can be happy lounging in a doggie bed next to you for hours while you work. I love belly rubs and I enjoy sunbathing on a pretty day. I have never once pottied in the house and I do well in a crate. I am almost a pro at leash walking! Going on walks is really fun! Yep, my future looks bright and I am looking forward to fun new adventures with a loving family by my side!
