Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ophelia is a sweet vintage beauty looking for a retirement home. The county shelter estimated her to be 14 but we believe she’s a few years younger.
She’s hearing impaired but can see very well and can still move around pretty swiftly, she can even still hop up on the couch. Her tail is constantly wagging and she always appears to be happy. Her kisses are gentle and plentiful and when she decides to use her voice her bark is simply adorable.
She asks for nothing besides comfort and love. She’s easy going, dog friendly, likes kids and we don’t think she’d mind feline friends.
Ophelia has had a thorough exam with our vet including bloodwork which revealed early kidney disease and mild anemia. She’s on a prescription diet, takes an iron supplement and an inexpensive med for her arthritis.
Adoption requirements:
- No kids under the age of 5 living in the home. Visiting younger children are fine.
If you’re looking for a calm companion and would like to give Ophelia a loving home please send us an inquiry. We do not accept phone call inquiries.
Ophelia is being fostered in Wesley Chapel, FL. Our travel time for home checks/adoptions must not exceed one hour.
