Summer is a very sweet kitten. She may seem shy at first, but that’s only because she doesn’t know you and a whole lot has come her way in her first months of life! She was separated from her mom and litter mates very young, so she has had to make her way in this world so far all by herself! We would love for her to not have to walk through her future alone. It would be amazing if Summer could go to a home with another kitten, or sociable young cat. This can be with another adoption from our center, or by joining your growing fur-family at home. Summer needs and deserves to feel loved and safe always. Because Summer can be a bit uneasy with new folks, fast movements, etc.., we'd rather see her in a home with no children. She is about 1 year old as of Spring/Summer 2023.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
