My story

Introducing Macaroni, the stunning calico beauty! Macaroni is a social butterfly once she gets to know you. At two years old, she's a mischievous little monkey, always finding something interesting to explore. Her adorable looks make it hard to resist her playful antics. Macaroni is a perpetually happy girl, often purring with contentment. While she enjoys spending some time on your lap, she prefers a cozy blanket or bed to relax on. Macaroni has a unique talent for sleeping in the most unconventional positions. While Macaroni can be picked up, she usually prefers to be left to her own devices as she has more important matters to attend to. Her favorite pastime is playing with springs and pompoms, and she proudly announces her discoveries as she parades her toys around the house. Macaroni tends to be a bit of a diva around other cats, so she would thrive in a household where she can be the center of attention. It's also best for her to be in a home without young children, although she hasn't been tested with dogs. Macaroni has a strong bond with her foster sister, Marley, and it's essential that they find a forever home together.

Macaroni was surrendered by her previous owner and is now eagerly awaiting her chance to find a permanent home alongside her best friend, Marley.

The perfect home for Macaroni understands that she might be a bit shy initially. However, once she feels comfortable, she'll transform into an impish character guaranteed to brighten your day. Together with Marley, they will make wonderful additions to a loving and caring family.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
