What greater gift than the love of a cat," said Charles Dickens. Macchiato had a rough life before we rescued her. She was all alone, feral and very pregnant. She is done raising her babies and all have been adopted. It has taken a lot of TLC to get Macchiato to trust us and she would love no more than to have a place to call home. She is 4 years old and is 'queen' of her own castle without other pets or children. Macchiato has been with us for a while now and while we love having her, she really needs someone who understands not only cats, but her in particular. She really can be a sweet, personable cat if given the space and time to be herself.Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received.
Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. Our main focus is spay /neuter assistance since we do not have a shelter.
We are often times confused with the local county shelter.
We have fosters for both cats and dogs...and do have a feline adoption center inside the PETCO on E State St.
We have monthly adoption events throughout the year.
