My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is an extremely gentle and sweet boy. he loves to be petted for long periods of time. Charlie can be picked up however he gets quite nervous when held. Charlie rolls over on his side as soon as he starts to be petted and he enjoys gentle tummy rubs once he gets to know you. He truly loves his canned food which he receives twice a day. Although he doesn't wear a watch he seems to know when its time for his meals to be served and he will start crying and running around until it is placed in front of him.

Charlie has learned how to play for the first time in his life and he truly enjoys it. Mostly he loves chasing the laser light and rolling around licking catnip toys. He will occasionally pick up a random toy and roll around the floor playing with it. Charlies favourite past time is to just lay in the window and watching the squirrels and birds and fall asleet in the sunshine. You will always find him taking his afternoon naps in his cat tree.

Charlie was born outdoors in a cat colony where he has lived his entire life. He was being fed and supplied with shelter by his colony caretaker. For the past several years he has allowed his caretaker to pet him and finally he was brought indoors where he is now safe, warm and loved. Charlie adjusted to an indoor life immediately and makes no attempt at all to go back outdoors. It was as though he had been an indoor cat all his life. He seems extremely grateful to have been rescued.

Charlie is quiet shy at first in new surroundings and with new people therefore he's best suited to a quiet calm environment with a single person or a quiet couple. Charlie is much too nervous to be a good fit in a busy household. He will have a tendency to hide first and his adopter must be able to sit on the floor wherever he is hiding in order to pet him as petting is the only way to make him feel safe and eventually comfortable. Charlie would prefer to be the only pet and this will allow him to get all the loves and attention for himself. It will take time and patience for him to become comfortable and allow his true personally to shine.

Charlie is finally getting a chance to find his forever home where he can play, lay in the sunshine and just be loved. Please open your heart and your home and give this sweet boy a chance at the life he deserves and has been patiently waiting for all his life.
