My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Robert Muffins
Profession: Full-time Shadow. Part-time Bed Ghost.

Greetings. I’m Robert Muffins, and yes, I’m as mysterious as my name suggests. I’m very shy, easily spooked, and prefer to do most of my existing from the safety of under furniture.

I will accept gentle pets… but only while I’m eating. (It’s called multitasking. Look it up.) You might not see me much at first, but trust me—I’m watching. From somewhere. Probably behind the curtain.

When no one’s around? I secretly lounge on the bed like I pay rent. I’m great with other calm cats, love staring dramatically out the window, and am looking for a quiet home where I can blossom slowly, like an emotionally complex houseplant. Adopt me if you enjoy mysterious roommates who may or may not be haunting your guest room.

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
