My story

Hello Future Family, I'm Gigi! I'm an 12-year-old Gorgeous Senior Kitizen with stunning gray fur and sparkling green eyes, looking for my purr-fect family! I love attention and being petted, and the way to my heart is definitely bon-bons (aka Temptations Treats!) I'm ready to be spoiled in my senior years by someone who loves me unconditionally.

Despite my age, I still have lots of energy for play and to help you with your daily chores. That's partly because I have a condition called ""hyperthyroidism"" that revs up my metabolism and energy. Fortunately, managing it is a breeze—a simple rub of medicine on my ear twice a day, and I'm good to go! I would really thrive in a home with toys, scratching posts, a sunny window, and a snuggly quiet place to sleep.

It would be a dream come true to go to a home in which I am the only pet. Living with other felines tends to agitate me and dampen my spirit. Fortunately, I now am HART's Gift Shop Greeter, and get to meet humans, and not other cats, all day long - which makes me happy! What I truly long for is the affection and companionship of caring humans in my own cozy home. If you're looking for your ""one and only,"" please visit HART - I'll be there to greet you!

More about this rescue

HART is a hands-on volunteer organization working to make a difference in our community of San Luis Obispo County by rescuing abandoned animals, trapping and neutering stray and feral cats, and fostering sick and needy animals until we can find the best matched homes for them. Our unique cage-fee shelter allows cats to roam freely and socialize with each other. We are a no-kill shelter.
