Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Betty is a unique, funny five-year-old, 15lb, wire-haired terrier mix pulled from the Riverside Shelter right before 4th of July in order to save her life. Betty is shy when you first meet her but will quietly come up to new people for pets and affection. Once she is comfortable, her energy definitely comes out. She is good with other dogs and has been in a foster home with other dogs and cats since we pulled her. Betty needs exercise and mental stimulation. She also needs lots of cuddles. Betty likes to run around in her foster's backyard, then cuddle on the couch for movie night.
She is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. She is potty trained. Betty will fit in well in just about any home. She is good with kids of all ages.
Betty does have a bit of separation anxiety in new situations but can overcome it pretty quickly once she feels secure.
She also can be an escape artist, which is why she has been adopted and returned. Everyone loves her, but her adopter needs to take measures to not allow her to escape the home or backyard. She just wants to go on adventures, and we need to make sure she doesn't go on them alone.
