My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Durango! She is a goofy girl saved from the Apopka dog fighting ring bust. As a result, she is shy with new people but warms up quickly if allowed to acclimate/approach you. She's currently fostered with 3 other dogs & seems good with older kids as well as cats. A companion dog with calm energy helps build her confidence in new situations, as she learns what a dog's life is supposed to be. Sadly, until that fateful day, she never got to be appreciated/loved. Now she actually craves & asks for it. She loves to play with other dogs & can be a bulldozer as she'll run straight at the other dogs (or humans) really fast and sometimes can't stop herself. Likes rough & tumble play but is never aggressive. She's still learning manners. Getting used to loud noises but will shy away on occasion, especially raises voices. Will cuddle in bed with you, if allowed. Durango is a masterpiece in progress and needs a patient owner to continue her doggie education. Could that be you?
