My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Female - black/white Dob - January 1, 2016
Chubbs is just an adorable and docile sweetheart. She truly loves to be petted and she will automatically roll over on her back or her side for gentle tummy rubs. Chubbs purrs loudly while being petted and she will go limp with happiness and contentment. She is okay with being picked up and held for short periods of time. Chubbs will lay at your feet wherever you're standing hoping for pets or she will lay beside you on the couch. Chubbs has a mind of her own and if she doesn't like the way she is being petted she will give out a little cry and then she will get up and walk away. She is fed canned food twice daily which she loves and she will sit in the kitchen staring at you until it is served.

She is not much for playing however she will interact with a wand toy or chase a laser light if she feels like it. Chubbs will occasionally pick up a random toy or a favourite cat nip toy and roll around playing with it. You may find Chubbs sitting in the window and watching any outdoor activity or you will find her curled up asleep in the afternoons in her favourite cat bed that will go with her to her new home.

Chubbs was born outdoors in a cat colony where she lived her entire life She was being fed and supplied with shelter by her colony caretaker. For the past several years she has allowed her caretaker to pet her and she was finally brought indoors where she is now safe, warm and loved. Chubbs adjusted to an indoor life immediately and she makes no attempt at all to want to go back outdoors. it was as though she had been an indoor cat all of her life. She seems extremely grateful to have been rescued. Chubbs was named by her caretaker years ago because of her stocky build and the fact that she has always had a tendency to be a little overweight.

Chubbs is quite shy at first in new surroundings and with new people therefore she's best suited to a quiet calm environment with a single person or a quiet couple. Chubbs is much too nervous to be a good fit in a busy household. She will have a tendency to hide at first and her adopter must be able to sit on the floor wherever she is hiding in order to pet her as petting is the only way to make her feel safe and eventually comfortable. As an only pet she will have all the love and attention for herself that she truly craves. It will take time and patience for her to become comfortable and for you to see the truly sweet personality of this precious girl.

Chubbs is finally looking for a home to call her own for the first time in her life. A place where she can sleep peacefully and where she will always be warm and loved.
