TERRACOTTA and her 3 siblings (GAMBOGE - SINOPIA - VERMILLION) were part of a huge TNR effort in Los Angeles County. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms and kittens. We were asked tp help and they went with one of our fosters.
TERRACOTTA is now ready for his "FUREVER" home. Female orange tabbies are not common. 80% of orange cats are male. For a female cat to be orange, she must inherit two orange genes — one from her mother (orange, calico, or tortoiseshell) and one from her father (who must be orange). A male cat needs only one orange gene, which he gets from his mother (orange, calico, or tortoiseshell).
TERRACOTTA is a rambunctious little girl. She likes toys, the cat tree and treats! You can pick her up ands he will give you love. But the minute you set her down, she's gone to explore and run like crazy. She's a typical kitten. She gets along really well with her siblings. She will need a YOUNG cat to play with in his new home. FYI: We named them after the different shades of orange.
TERRACOTTA is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / ORIENTAL TABBY MIX. She is about 5 months old. He is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. He has never been around children.
TERRACOTTA is currently in a PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue.
SEPTEMBER 2022: With all the needed social distancing, we are still doing adoptions. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. Please note that it is totally up to the volunteers if they are comfortable with allowing you in the cattery. (COVID). Steps 1-5 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Request Online Application

3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
7. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

Meet and greets will take place at the Petsmart location where the cat/kitten is currently located at.
The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will do meet and greets at any of the 3 Petsmart locations listed below. The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated!

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
