My story

Sweet Evangelyn- her name sounds like a song, but her beginnings are much different. In May a young girl named Evangelyn rescued this puppy, hence her name. She was starving; her skin was in a sad condition caused by stress and poor nutrition.

Three months and a minor miracle later, Evangelyn is in great shape and ready for the next stage of life- living with a family who will love her. Forever.

She is great with all dogs, and is unsure what a cat is.
As her name suggests, she is very sweet, a little timid, and a non-jumper. She is still learning on a leash; she’s crate trained. Evangelyn is ready and waiting!

Why adoption is a great option

Evangelyn, a Bayport Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Bayport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bayport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bayport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bayport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bayport paves the way for another one to be saved.
