Breed: Golden Labrador Mix
Age: Approximately 1.5 years old
Weight: 55 pounds
Location: group foster in Louisiana
• Description: Honey is a darling golden lab mix who is as sweet as her name suggests. At 55 pounds, she could use a little extra love and attention to help her pack on some weight. Despite her young age, Honey is well-mannered with a tail that never fails to wag.
• Personality: Although not high-energy, Honey still exhibits puppy behaviors and is filled with boundless enthusiasm and curiosity. She adores car rides and is excellent on the leash, making her the perfect adventure buddy. Honey has also spent time with young children (five and over), showcasing her gentle and patient nature.
• Current Situation: Honey's journey has faced a roadblock as people passed her by due to her positive heartworm status. However, she's now nearing the end of her heartworm treatment and will soon be ready for her forever home mid-April.
