Hi my name is Mama Mia and I was brought here to DHS SPCA of S.J. County from the Emergency Food Bank. I had been hanging out there and one of the nice ladies there had been feeding me, until they noticed i was pregnant. They didn't want me having my babies there so i am here. The staff here has treated me and my 3 babies great. I had 4 kittens of my oown, 1 passed away. Then I was brought Lucky a newborn without his mommy. After Lucky I was given 4 more babies without a mommy to take care of the poor orphaned kittens. After all my kittens are old enough to be on their own I look forward to getting adopted to my forever family and home. Call to set up a meet and greet with me.

More about this shelter
The Delta Humane Society & SPCA has been serving the city of Stockton, San Joaquin County and surrounding counties since 1966. We have placed over 30,000 animals into homes since 1966. We provide shelter, medical care and adoption services to abandoned, lost and misplaced pets. Each animal that comes into our shelter is given vaccinations and placed under surveillance until it is determined that the animal is ready to go home with a loving new owner. Every animal has been spayed or neutered before adoption.
Delta Humane Society & SPCA does not engage in the acts of euthanasia of animals, and operates strictly on public donations. We are a private, nonprofit charity, supported by people who care about the welfare of animals.
If you would like to visit Delta Humane Society & SPCA we are located approximately 1/2 mile North of Arch Road, on the East frontage road of Highway 99. Please drop by and see us. The animals are just waiting to find a loving home.
