Rockie is a 9 yo Bull Terrier. He is deaf, but he gets around great and that doesn’t slow him down one bit!!. LOVES all types of people!! Rockie has been everywhere on outings from Downtown Summerlin, to Mandalay Bay during Superbowl Weekend, Trader Joe’s, etc. He definitely seeks out people and attention, and will melt into anyone who gives him attention. When people ask to pet him, we do ask that they first let him smell their hand and be gentle – not get in his face, etc.
Just had a sleepover recently with one of our volunteers. He slept great through the night, no accidents and no barking and was not destructive in the home, items like shoes were put away.
Rockie will try to peek on counters – obviously, looking for the good stuff!! So counter edges should be kept clear of medication, food, sharp utensils, etc.
This boy is a playful dog! Loves playing fetch w/tennis balls in the backyard and likes to be on the go! We tried to wait in line recently but queues are not his thing!! Same, Rockie, same.
LOVES a kiddie pool!! Perfect way to cool him off in the summer months!
Potty trained, no accidents on sleepovers or inside stores, etc.
He can easily gets into the back of an SUV with the help of a ramp, can jump out on his own. It helps if you signal “Come” to him with your arm.
Rockie would love to be in a home with a family that is patient and appreciates what a special boy he is!!
