My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, kind people of the world! My name is Ryobi and I am a beautiful female kitten in search of a loving home. I was born March 25, 2022. I'm an old soul. I'm such a gentle girl and I completely melt into affection. I really just love to love. It can take me a minute to warm up to new people and new places, but once I understand you're a kind person, we'll be best friends for life. I will take absolutely every opportunity I get to rub against you for love or to snuggle on your lap. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I absolutely adore other cats. I would be happiest in a home with a cat who would like to have a friend around. I really like to snuggle with them too! I am pretty close with my foster brother Book Antiqua, who is a male tuxedo kitten with a similar personality to me. We would love to go home together! We are litterbox trained and ready to go! Apply today! Adoption fee: $125. Adopt a pair: $200. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
