My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin is a female, mixed-breed almost 2.5 yo dog (DOB 9-22-21). Pumpkin is full grown and 30-35 lbs, making her the best size for any lifestyle. She has the softest coat her foster Mom has ever felt on a dog (even among dogs with fine hair); petting her will make you question which of you is feeling more relaxed. Pumpkin is on the timid side and will do best in a calmer home where she can be the center of attention, but she also loves going for a life leash walk.  Pumpkin is crate trained, spayed, and up-to-date on her shots. If you can imagine letting this pumpkin spice up your life, please contact us at howlelujah.rescue@gmail.com

More about this rescue

Howlelujah Rescue is a small, volunteer run, foster based, all breed, non-profit rescue. All our of work is supported through our adoption fees and donations. We can only rescue as many dogs as we can ethically and safely house and support, so we are always looking for responsible and committed volunteers. We believe that the most effective way of supporting our community is to give back at the community level. In addition to animal rescue, we support our community by working to keep pets with the owners that love them; helping provide food, vaccinations, and low cost spay and neuter options to reduce the the number of animals entering our local county run shelter or being dumped on our streets.
