Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rollo, he is a 5 yr old neutered male at about 80 lb. He is a happy, good-natured, large chocolate Lab mix, whose tail is always wagging. He has assimilated into our family and made great progress in a relatively short amount of time. He will thrive with an owner/family who is willing to spend some time training with him, although Rollo can sit, shake, and walks well on a leash. He is an amazing “fetcher” and LOVES a tennis ball! He needs a bit of work on his manners and is a very big, strong dog, so some strength and determination will be needed for that, as he has a very lovable face and is a bit stubborn.
He is great with other dogs. We do have a feisty orange tabby cat who jumped on Rollo’s back the first day, so we are unsure how he would do with a ‘normal’ cat, haha. He did not seem at all interested in the cat until after that interaction. With some attention, that is improving. Rollo wants to play; cat wants to hiss… Other than that, Rollo is a very lovable, loving chocolate doggie. He currently lives with another dog and has been exposed to farm animals (small and large) with no issues.
He is good with kids but because of his big size, we think kids over 7 yrs old would suit him better.
