Hi Dalila here, I am the perfect mix of a young and sweet dog, who loves to cuddle but also who takes care of its family and friends. I am cute as I can be, loyal and a leader as well.
I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it and I could use a bit more training in that area.
Check out my YouTube video: https://youtu.be/Db_KQQHUDt8
I get along with most dogs when I have a good introduction. I tend to be a bit protective with strange dogs I meet on a walk so I may need some patience and more training to learn how to be calmer. I am sure that if you have a family dog now, we would get along, I live with 8 dogs now so I am used to having a pack-mate.
I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family.
My ideal family will be active and outdoorsy. I imagine us running through the woods or on the beach sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Ahhh, that will be the life!
If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.
Lots of love to give, Dalila To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is on our website at: https://hope4lapawz.org/adoption-process/
Once approved, we establish transport for your dog and work out delivery which is usually to an airport near your city (unless you are here in La Paz).
Adoption fees are $400 USD and transport fees are typically a flat $300 to any city that Alaska Airlines flies direct from San Diego. Adoptions for dogs to be living in Mexico are $1500 + Transport Fees.
Dogs traveling outside of Mexico are certified and have all appropriate documentation, shots, tests, and exams. In addition to the rescuing and medical rehabilitation of these dogs, we have regular training classes for the dogs to encourage socialization as well as leash and crate training while they are in their foster homes awaiting adoption.
Our adoption team supplies information, and tools, recommended training books. They also perform periodic adoption follow ups and assistance for adoptive families. We want each of our dogs to be set up for success in their new home. Our goal is to provide adopters with a complete package of rescue, care, and adoption support to promote a successful, happy life for you and your new dog.
If you have any other questions, you can contact a member of our Adoption Team at adoptions@hope4lapawz.org and we’ll get right back to you.

More about this rescue
We are an all-volunteer organization in La Paz, BCS, Mexico, and include local community of rescuers (called "rescatistas"). Dogs that are rescued from the streets are fostered in homes where they are treated as members of the family. They are often fostered with other dogs and sometimes cats and children.
Our organization encourages more in the community to rescue and foster by offering a support system of food, medical care, and professional training. As rescuers get involved, they educate their neighbors, family, and friends about the importance of proper animal care, spaying/ neutering, and thus help to break the cycle of abuse and neglect.
We are always in need of volunteers here in Mexico, in the US, and in Canada. Visit our volunteer page for more details about getting involved -- so you can help us make a difference! https://hope4lapawz.org/volunteer/
