Peiso was brought to Cedar Farm by a young man who did not want to do what he knew he had to do. Like so many people lately, he and his family had to move from their home to a new place that did not allow dogs. He came to Cedar Farm to surrender his dog. It was an emotional moment for him and for his dog Peiso, who did not know what was going on. So Peiso became a Cedar Farm dog and we started to get to know each other. Peiso was and is a very playful dog but the aspect of him that I am amazed by is how he acts around children.
Several families have come out to Cedar Farm to see the dogs here and occasionally, when Peiso was a dog who fit their profile, I got a chance to show him to them. He was just wonderful with the children. The families ended up adopting different dogs from us for one reason or another, but they all remarked about how good he was with their children.
There is a saying... Don't judge a book by it's cover. If you are reading this description of him, then you've gotten past the fact that some of Peiso's pictures make him look a little unfriendly. He can't help it that the face that God gave him is a little stern. The part that you can't see is the wonderful heart and spirit that God gave him. But you can feel it when you meet him. He is tender hearted.
Peiso weighs about 60 pounds, has been neutered, rabies vaccinated, brought up to date on all other vaccinations, microchipped, crate and leash trained.
If you would like to meet Peiso, it is a simple process. Go to our website, cedarfarmrescue.com, click on the Adoption Application tab, fill out and submit the application. After you have done that, please CALL us at 336-251-8877 to confirm our receipt of your application. At that time, we will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have and set a date and time for you to come and visit with Peiso. It is by appointment only and appointments are set verbally by phone only. Thank you for your interest in a Cedar Farm dog.
