Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pineridge is a 1 year old, male Hound mix who
weighs about 40 pounds. This cutie is a happy, wiggly high energy boy
who loves a good game of chase and fetch. Pineridge is such a sweet
boy. The 11 year old daughter in his most recent home had no trouble
with him at all on walks even though once he knows where he is headed
he wants to be there quickly! He is super smart that way and knew the
way back to their house after one walk around the neighborhood.
Pineridge knew his boundaries as well and even after just 2 days was
obedient to the daughter to the point that she let him run the field
at her school yet he never tried to run away. They played tag and
fetch for a half hour and he was such a happy boy to be out playing.
Like most little doggos he wanted to chew on all her stuffed animals,
even though he had his own. FYI keep them out of his reach or he may
claim them haha. Pineridge lived in a home with cats and didn't mind
them one bit! What a wonderful boy!
Pineridge was very good about telling us when his family needed to go
out. He would quietly whine and not bark. It was easy to understand
and he only had 2 accidents. One when he first got to the house from
excitement and then once more when the daughter overslept and didn't
wake up to his request to go out.
Once Pineridge got his energy out or calmed down he would just lay
next to the daughter. He's going to be a great best friend to a
special kiddo. His previous family loved him and will always be
grateful for the time we got with him. Best wishes!
*Pineridge was recently returned due to no fault of his own. There
were special circumstances that require his return not related to him*
