Meet Ashtar!
Ashtar is a 1 year old petite lab mix.
Ashtar has a high energy level, but if properly exercised, he settles down and loves to cuddle up on the sofa for a movie.
He loves to ride along in the car and is a wonderful riding buddy.
He loves going to the beach and just generally being with his people.
He hasn’t displayed any anxiety issues at all.
He has an excellent recall when summoned and goes with the flow.
He is a very happy little fella and does best with a schedule so he knows what you expect from him.
He settled in very nicely after the first 24 hours and has been mostly unaffected by all the changes he’s been through in a short time.
Ashtar has been through basic obedience training classes and did really well, but can be easily distracted if other dogs are around.
He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, Microchipped, and dewormed. He is great with kids of all ages. He has been in 2 homes since he was a puppy and the first home had an older dog who wasn’t fond of a puppy energy and went after Ashtar several times, so he was rehomed for his safety.
The 2nd home didn’t have any issues at first but their other dog and Ashtar got into a scuffle in the backyard when left out unattended and it’s unknown which dog was the aggressor. Neither dog was injured but the adopters didn’t want to work it out or make any changes to prevent any further issues.
He is housebroken, crate trained and leash trained!🐾
