We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Sweet little Webster was hit by a car on the streets of Mexico and was brought to our sister rescue in Playa del Carmen, SOS el Arca. He was only months old and was in a lot of pain so he was immediately brought in for X-rays. The result showed a broken femur and a Femeral Head Ostectomy was performed with great success. Due to Webster’s young age his recovery time will be short and it is important to keep him exercised and loved, there is nothing more to do other than to keep him active, but since he is so young that won’t be a problem.
Webster is a happy, active puppy who does not mess in the shelter so we do believe he is house trained. He is crate trained and his leash skills are a work in progress. He is a smart boy and food motivated which would make training easier for him. It is MANDATORY that he get training and proof of this is necessary before adopting him.
A home with a secure fully fenced yard would be ideal for Webster, he gets along well with children but because of his injury age 6+ would be best for him, he gets along well with dogs, and was cat tested where he really had no interest but it would be on the discretion of the adopter to introduce Webster properly and safely to cats in the home. He would be a great walking buddy but jogging or running would not be ideal for him at the moment. He would love nothing more than to be the dog to go on adventures with his new person or family.
If you feel you would be the right fit for Webster, please fill out an adoption application at www.allpawsmatter.ca\
All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heartworm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.
BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
