Bodhi is a sweet puppy and is 100% all about playtime. He will play with toys all by himself, but love a good cuddle once he gets his energy out. He can be apprehensive when he first meets a new dog, but warms up very quickly and will want to play. Cats currently make him a little nervous and he just turns and walks away when they come around. He is working on crate and potty training and will be glad to give you kisses after your praises. Pull out some treats and you might even get him to sit or go in his crate on command. Bodhi is going to a large dog, but will do great with a family that is ready to handle all the puppy days with chewing and training.
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policies, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.
Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.
