Hello there, my name is Sandy! I'm a sweet and sensitive pup who just wants someone to love and cuddle with. When I'm around my favorite humans, I'll follow them everywhere they go. It just makes me so happy to be near the people I care about! I'm a bit shy at first, but with a little patience and some gentle encouragement, I warm up to new friends quickly. Squeaky toys and cozy blankets are my absolute favorites - they make me feel safe and secure. As for other furry friends, I prefer to hang out with calmer dogs. If you already have pets at home, a meet-and-greet would be a great idea so we can make sure we'll be the best of companions. Now, as much as I love the shelter staff, what I really want is a family of my own to love and cherish. FRAs wishes to promote pet-friendly environments, services, and activities in Rowlett and surrounding communities.

Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) Texas organization founded in 2004. FRAs is working to improve communication between the City of Rowlett Animal Services and the community. By partnering with our local animal shelters, networking with animal rescue groups, utilizing community resources and social media, as well as conducting off site adoption events and fund raisers, we are able to help increase animal adoptions.
