My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carmine is eager to find a home he can call his own and to share his love and loyalty with a committed adult person or family.
Some of Carmine’s favorite activities are chasing a ball, fetching toys, healthy eating, walks on the beach, car rides to any place at all, hiking, swimming, and star gazing.
Carmine has been provided with a quality training program designed specifically for him and his needs at Instinct Dog Behavior & Training, Englewood, NJ. He’s a sensitive dog who at times is over-responsive to new people and experiences. At Instinct, he is learning more appropriate responses. Potential adopters are offered continued training with Carmine to provide a rewarding experience for both you and him. Carmine has shown that he loves learning and is passionate about the reward (cheese) that comes with making good choices!
Carmine is neutered, housebroken, crate trained and nondestructive in the house; he also walks nicely on a leash, though a bird, squirrel or chipmunk has been known to catch his attention.
If you are looking for a lifelong friend, a companion pet that will always provide unconditional love, loyalty, and will be your one and only pet …. look no further. You just found him. Unlimited volunteer references available upon request.

Carmine’s adoption fee is being sponsored by one of his adoring volunteers. If you are experienced with large bully breed dogs and interested in meeting him, please complete an interest form. www.sammyshope.org/adoptdogs. An adoption counselor will contact you to schedule an appointment.April 26, 2024, 7:00 pm
