Meet Harry, a 3 year young, 50 lb, male boxer-mix bursting with playfulness and curiosity, always ready for adventure and eager to explore the world around him. With a friendly disposition Harry is a true social butterfly. Despite his independent streak, he's working hard to polish his social manners, while already excelling in his leash walking skills. He is treat-motivated and with some focused training he should quickly learn basic commands. And he takes treats gently. Harry is very friendly with everyone, and even the few dogs he has met while with us. If you are interested in meeting Harry, please complete a Dog Adoption Interest form; an adoption counselor will contact you to answer any questions and schedule an appointment.

Adopters can meet our animals 7 days per week at our Sayreville, NJ facility. All adopters are asked to fill out an adoption application survey to find their perfect match. Surveys can be filled out in person at the shelter, or through our online form. All pets are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. Adoption fees are $125 for cats and $250 for dogs.

Sammy's Hope Animal Welfare & Adoption Center is privately-operated animal shelter, staffed and supported by volunteers, that helps care for and find Forever Homes for homeless animals. We work with local NJ municipal animal shelters to help alleviate their overcrowding and find homeless pets their Forever Families.

Sammy's Hope is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Thank you!
