Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bronx!
Hi There, I’m Bronx, foster mom thought it would be fun to give me a big name for a tiny girl. I’m 5 years old and just 7 pounds, and after spending my entire life in a puppy mill, my foster mom said I’ll be loved for just being me! Well I’m having a bit of a challenge finding that home.
Actually what I'm looking for is more of a roommate. Someone who is retired or works from home so I can get used to you and your routine. See I may never be that cuddly lap dog most people are looking for but I am very happy to share the sofa with you - I hope that is okay! I am just very cautious about people, but once I'm comfortable with you I do like getting scratches and will let you pick me up.
My new roommate must have a secure fenced yard, for my safety - no exceptions. Someone thought I could be a full-time indoor dog, if I got pad trained, then I might not need a fence. Hmm ,,, I will need a patient, kind, understanding roommate who is willing to go slow and work with me. Please no kids, that would just be too much for me. I need a calm home. I am potty trained, and my foster parents have me on a good schedule and avoiding accidents.
Foster mom said if my new roommates have another confident dog in the house that would be great for me, but it isn’t a deal breaker. I just like to have other doggie friends around to help me learn how to be a dog.
I sure hope my new family will love me and adore me and want me for who I am. I promise to learn to trust and love them right back just don’t rush me! Can you maybe be my new family?

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
