My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello all, my name is Freedom! I am a 7 year old male. I am FIV+ and cannot go to a home with other cats unless they also have FIV. I used to live outside near PVCHS, however a nice man who had been feeding me for the majority of my life brought me into the shelter when I was not feeling very well. Now that I am all better, I am ready to find myself a forever home. I would do well in a single cat home or even in a temperature controlled garage as long as I am not allowed to roam outside.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, flea preventative, deworming medication, microchip, sample bag of food & treats, and a free first exam with participating veterinarians. Shelter policy and 2018 Indiana state law decrees all animals must be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter.
Our shelter is open to the public on Monday- Saturday from 8:00 am -5:00 pm EST with the exception of some Wednesdays for vet visits. If you would like to make an appointment to meet one of our many adoptable animals, please send an email to us at pvchs@joink.com or call at (765) 492-3540. To apply to adopt, access our online forms at https://pvchs.cfsites.org/custom.php?pageid=4830.
