Update 2- Approximately 2 year old Mischa is a gem of a dog.
She’s got energy for days and would benefit from someone with an active lifestyle where she can join in on fun activities like running or hiking or swimming. She loves to play fetch with her stuffed animals and loves to play in water.
She’s got basic obedience and does well on a leash with some guidance from her human. She gets super excited when she sees another dog but is particular about her bigger doggy friends so a proper intro is always needed. She’s the best puppy wrangler and will play and play with any small dogs who will let her. She does occasionally forget her size and has to be reminded but is easily corrected in those moments
Mischa has so much joy in her that she always seems to be smiling big and wide and is always so happy to see her favorite people. She is a cuddle bug with lots of love to give and would do well in a big active family. She’s everyone’s friend, even if they don’t know it until they meet her. She’s super smart and picks up things quickly and would likely excel at some kind of dog sports.

Update- 18 mo old Mischa wants nothing more than to give thanks for a new home and family this holiday season.
A high energy puppy, she needs lots of exercise and enrichment to stay busy. She loves dogs big and small and rarely meets a human who doesn’t become her very best friend in about 30 seconds.
She’s well behaved and knows basic obedience. Completely potty trained and kennel trained. You can see by her face just how happy she is literally all the time. She loves toys and plays a mean game of fetch.

Welcome sweet Mischa to the VSR fold.
We were originally told she was 6 months but she appears to be more like 18 months. She will need to be vetted first as she was found in the desert about 5 weeks ago with 2 other babies who were all very thin. All attempts to find an owner were made and no one came forward.
She is dog friendly and barks a bit at new humans until she smells you out and then it’s all affection and kisses. She rides well in a car, kennels well and appears to have had obedience training in the past as she is a very good girl who knows several commands and has great recall even off leash.
We still need to get to know her a bit but she seems amazing so far.
