LUCY and STANLEE
These two piggy’s are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together. But don’t let that be a hurdle. Pigs are very social and they love to live with other pigs, so ideally you want two pigs, and what better way than two that already love each other. LUCY was a pig that was picked up by the Jacksonville FL Sheriff's Office. She is a bit shy and scared of new things, but with time and patience she is learning to trust again. Both STANLEE and LUCY are very sweet with other pigs and do not want to fight. LUCY fell instantly in love with STANLEE who came in from the Sheriff's Office too. They liked each other and have provided comfort to each other. They will make a great piggy pair for a hobby farm or micro-sanctuary. STANLEE is shy too, but learning to trust through food. Someone who is looking to make a bond with these two sweet pigs will find that they respond nicely to positive training and treat reward based training. LUCY has already learned her name and will respond when called. They both free range all day with other potbelly type pigs, a large Yorkshire pig, horses, and dogs.
