My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chamois (about 3 and a half months old as of 8/15/22) is a neutered male buff tabby shorthaired kitten. 2 days after we found Chamois' best buddy "PC" a friendly but very emaciated and filthy kitten under a trailer in Park City they spotted this little guy in the same spot, fairly healthy and clean but terrified of people. Taming him has been a lot of work but he's a lot more comfortable living among people now. That said, he's a definitely more food motivated and play motivated than affection motivated; but we're hoping he'll continue to get cuddlier as he gets older and continues building trust. He'd be perfect for a family with some cat experience who can be understanding with him as he gets to know them. He does great with other cats and would do best with a young playmate to wear him out like his buddy PC. Because he is a little more shy and nervous we think he'd do better in a home without any hyper dogs or little kids around.
